IO Fundamentals Course (IOFC)
IOFC is a web based distance learning course
with instructor led discussions via a message board. This
course will give you the tools to understand the basics of
Information Operations (IO) and is a pre-requisite for the
39th Information Operations Squadron’s Information Operations
Integration Course (IOIC), which is initial qualification
training for Information Warfare Flight (IWF) members. IOFC
is designed to give you the tools to understand the basics
of IO, and provide a basic understanding of the need for IO
in the Air Force and the concerns of senior leadership in
the IO arena.

SIMTEX Network Orientation
Course (SNOC)
This course is designed to provide an orientation
to the SIMTEX Network, the simulated network operations environment
created to allow Air Force network operators and defenders
to practice their tradecraft in a controlled setting. This
orientation course will include an introduction to the SIMTEX
Network and its components, as well as a description of the
safety protocols, rules of use, and standard operating procedures
associated with the SIMTEX Network. This course will help
students to effectively train within the simulator environment
by delivering a basic explanation of the network environment
and its operation. Operations Security (OPSEC) will be stressed
throughout the course to help protect the critical information
contained herein and prevent unauthorized use of that information.

Introduction to Network
Defense (INDC)
This course is designed to provide an initial
orientation to the current Network Defense (NetD) and Network
Operations (NetOps) operational environment in the Air Force,
and to provide students with a basic understanding of the
complex organizational structures that form the operational
foundation of NetD/NetOps activities for the Air Force. By
delivering a basic comprehension of the Command and Control
(C2) roles, responsibilities, and tools which relate to the
conduct of NetD/NetOps activities, as well as explaining the
Air Force's basic network architecture and its use of the
Defense-in-Depth approach, this course will help students
to achieve an initial understanding of how the Air Force conducts
and manages NetD/NetOps activities. Operations Security (OPSEC)
will be stressed throughout the course in order to help protect
the critical information contained herein, and to prevent
unauthorized use of that information.

Tactics, Techniques
and Procedures Fundamentals Course
This course is designed to provide an overview
to the Air Force Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
program, specifically Vol 36 IO TTPs. Students will learn
the concepts of using sound Tactics to solve military problems.
This course also teaches students how to submit tactics and
the workings of the Tactics Improvement Process. Operations
Security (OPSEC) will be stressed throughout the course in
order to help protect the critical information contained herein,
and to prevent unauthorized use of that information.

PSYOP Advanced
Distributed Learning (PADL)
This course is designed to provide instruction
on Information Operations Psychological Operations. This course
builds upon the material presented in IOFC and goes into further
detail on the planning process. (OPSEC) will be stressed throughout
the course in order to help protect the critical information
contained herein, and to prevent unauthorized use of that
information.
